Cookie Policy

The Social Aspect HTX LLC · Effective: 7th May 2026 · Last updated: 7th May 2026

The plain-English version: We use small files called cookies to make the site work, see how people use it, and measure our ads. You can say no to the non-essential ones at any time. Here’s exactly what runs and what each one does.

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Pixels and tags are similar tracking technologies that work with cookies. Together, they help websites remember your visit, measure performance, and (in some cases) deliver targeted ads.

2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies on thesocialaspecthtx.com (the "Site") for three reasons:
• Essential: to make the Site function properly (forms, navigation, security).
• Analytics: to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
• Marketing: to measure the performance of our paid advertising and (in some cases) show you relevant ads on other platforms.

3. Cookies and Tracking Tools We Use

3.1 Essential
• Site functionality cookies — set by our hosting platform and any embedded forms (e.g., Dubsado intake form). These are required for the Site to work and cannot be disabled.

3.2 Analytics
• Google Analytics (GA4) — measures site traffic, page views, time on page, and traffic sources. Cookies typically named _ga, _gid, _gat. Data is processed by Google LLC.
Opt out: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

3.3 Marketing and Advertising
• Google Ads conversion tag — measures conversions (e.g., discovery call bookings) from our Google Ads campaigns. Cookies typically named _gcl_*.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — measures conversions and (where consent is given) supports retargeting on Facebook and Instagram. Cookies typically named _fbp, fr.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag — measures conversions from LinkedIn campaigns and supports retargeting on LinkedIn. Cookies typically named li_sugr, bcookie, lidc.

4. Your Choices

4.1 Cookie Banner
When you first visit the Site, you’ll see a cookie banner. You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences. You can change your choice at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the Site footer.

4.2 Browser Controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may break parts of the Site. Useful links:
• Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies
• Safari: Preferences > Privacy
• Firefox: about:preferences#privacy
• Edge: edge://settings/privacy

4.3 Platform Opt-Outs
• Google: https://adssettings.google.com
• Meta: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads
• LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/advertising
• Industry-wide opt-out: https://optout.aboutads.info or
https://optout.networkadvertising.org

5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to it, so our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. You can use the controls described above instead.

6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the "Last updated" date and (for material changes) notify you on the Site.
